How to collect the wedding photos your guests take.
Decide where photos should go before the day, then make the request easy to spot. Guests will take pictures anyway; the useful part is giving them a clear, low-effort way to send them to you.
A collection with room for the in-between moments
Keep the guest-photo request separate from formal photography. It is for the conversations, table moments and dance-floor photos happening around you.
Choose a method your guests will actually use.
There is no single right method. The trade-off is usually between keeping it familiar and making it simple for everyone, including guests who do not want another account or app.

Ask after the wedding
Easy to set up, but it relies on people remembering to find and send photos once normal life has resumed.

Use a shared album
Works well for a small, confident group, but guests may need an account, an invite or another app before they can contribute.

Give guests one upload link
A dedicated link or QR code makes the request clear on the day and gives every guest the same place to send their photos.
Make the request specific.
A sign that says only “scan me” asks guests to work out why. Tell them what the code is for: “Add the photos you take today” is enough. Put it at the welcome table, on a few table cards or beside the guest book—where people can pause and scan without holding up the queue.
