Getting started and payment
How much does BigDayPlay cost?
BigDayPlay is a one-off £25 purchase for one wedding. There is no subscription.
When do I pay?
You enter your wedding details first, then complete payment securely through Stripe before configuring your wedding.
Can I set it up before the wedding day?
Yes. You can configure your activities and make your wedding live as soon as you are ready, then share the link and QR code ahead of time.
QR codes and guest access
Do guests need to download an app?
No. BigDayPlay works in the browser on guests' phones.
Do guests need an account?
No. Guests choose a name for their entry, or a group name if they are playing together.
How does the QR code work?
Your wedding has one private guest link and QR code. You can send the link before the day or print the code on signs and table cards.
Activities and customisation
Which activities are included?
The launch package includes Wedding Photo Bingo and Couple Quiz. Wedding Photo Album and the optional shared Leaderboard are also available for your wedding.
Can I personalise Photo Bingo and Couple Quiz?
Yes. You choose Photo Bingo challenges and can edit them. Couple Quiz questions, answers and correct answers are also yours to set up before publishing.
Can I change the activities after guests join?
To keep the guest experience reliable, activity setup is locked once your wedding is live.
Wedding Photo Album
Do we need a separate wedding photo-sharing service?
No. Wedding Photo Album is included with BigDayPlay. Guests add candid photos through the same private guest page and QR code they use for your activities.
How does it work alongside the activities?
Guests can add ordinary candid photos whenever they like. Photos from Wedding Photo Album and completed Photo Bingo challenges are collected together for the host.
Photos, results and privacy
What happens to our photos?
Photos from Wedding Photo Album and Photo Bingo are collected in one private host view. Hosts can access and download them for one year after the wedding, then the archive is permanently deleted. We send reminders before that date.
Can guests see everyone else's photos?
The launch experience is designed around contributing photos to the couple's private collection. It does not offer a public guest photo gallery.
